Please note that this drop ceiling vent kit is designed for use with the following models: AP12000S, AP14000HS, AP14000HW, AP420HS, and the Boston Innovative AP410HW. This ceiling kit may be used with many other brands of portable air conditioner with little or no modification, however you will need to consult with one of our experts before using it with other brands.
Please note that by extending the exhaust hose may affect the cooling ability of the air conditioner. We never recommend extending a portable air conditioners' exhaust hose beyond 10 feet.

Simply remove a drop ceiling tile and replace it with the provided panel and attach the hoseDurable Ducting:

Good for Server Room Drop Ceiling Kit
Bought for AP14009COM 14000 btu AC. Well insulated tube, good fit in 2X2 ceiling tile. Insulated metal "tile" - nicer than I expected.
Installed in 9.5 foot ceiling no problem. looks good in my server room. No heat escapes into room.
The insulation (fiberglass) is kind of exposed at each end so you need to handle the tube carefully.
Works well, I would buy again as needed (for other units).

Great product for windowless rooms.
We use this in our server room which has no windows. Does a great job venting out heat and was extremely easy to install with clear directions.

Simple and Effective!
Simple to use kit. The heat pump is being used in an above ground severe storm shelter. This kit effectively moves the hot air from the exchanger out of the shelter space and creates a very habitable shelter in hot weather!

Used it for a server room
It's not real pretty, but it does exactly what we needed for not much money. Our office (in hot, hot Phoenix, Arizona) was getting stupid hot over the weekends since the building A/C turns off completely for the entire weekend. Using this ceiling exhaust hose and a cheap portable A/C we're able to keep the server rack a decent temp without any issues.

I turned my Garage, 30 X20 into a work out room. Summer it is extreamly hot. Winter I have a gas heater to warm the room. Garage doors open on both ends hence no windows to vent. For storage and to keep the heat in for winter, I had a ceiling put in, but not a drop ceiling, just plaster board. I have drop down stepts that lead to the upper level to store stuff. My question is do you make a vent kit that could be vented through the ceiling into the attic part of a garage or would it have to be vented outside?Images for this Question

These units can be vented to any location depending on your needs. Although there is not a kit designed specifically for this type of installation, you would be able to modify the drop ceiling kit to fit your needs.Details:
I am considering Model: WA-1400ESunpentown 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner for my garage.(no windows)
My plan is to put the Unit on a heavy duty shelf and use the drain hose feature by draining it down into a utility sink.
